Hello, my name is Nellie. I have been a dental hygienist for about 6 years now and I am loving it. Being a dental hygienist allows me to help people maintain a healthier and more beautiful smile which I think is very important. I have been at Bathurst Dupont Dental for about four years now and it is a great practice with an amazing staff that are dedicated to providing the best care possible for our patients. When I am not working, I like to spend time with my husband and my baby boy Nathan who is 10 months old and growing up too fast! I also like reading, camping and eating out at different restaurants.
Mimi Karastamatis – Dental Assistant
My name is Mimi and I have 17 years of experience as an assistant and I have been at the office for 13 years. I graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Resource and Environmental Studies.
As a student, I worked as a part time dental assistant and really enjoyed working with people in helping make a difference with their dental care and needs.
After graduating from the University of Toronto, I decided to pursue a career in the dental field and completed a course at George Brown College and became a certified dental assistant.
As the longest staff member at the office, over the years I have built relationships with patients which I respect and value. The staff at the office are very knowledgeable and dedicated to our patients and help them understand the importance of dental health care. Also, working with Dr.Dang as his assistant I feel very comfortable with his professional and conservative approach when dealing with patients needs.
My interests include cooking, shopping, travelling and exercising. I am also a huge animal lover, in particular dogs.
Hope to meet you soon!
